The leather comes from cowhides that are a by-product of the food industry.The cowhides come from wide-open farms in Crete, close to the leather tannery.
Contrary to other leather sandals, these comfortable sunshine staples have been tanned and dyed using vegetables, chestnuts, moss and other trees – without the use of toxic chemicals that is extremely damaging to the environment and workers.
